🤍 How I Spread the Love

Here are a few of the amazing charities that are near and dear to my 🖤

Vote Forward Vote Forward’s flagship voter contact program trains and supports volunteers writing personal, heartfelt letters to potential voters with an easy-to-use online platform. The majority of our letter-writing campaigns are nonpartisan campaigns, supporting our core 501c(3) and 501c(4) social welfare mission, which focus on mobilizing potential voters in communities that have historically been marginalized in the political process—such as people of color, women, and young voters. We also support 501(c)(4) partisan campaigns to encourage likely Democratic voters to turn out in strategic states and districts.

Campaign Zero Birthed from the protests in Ferguson, Baltimore, and a host of other cities over cases of civilians killed by police, Campaign Zero was launched in August 2015 as a research-based platform to move to an understanding of public safety beyond policing. Since its inception, Campaign Zero has designed and launched research and advocacy projects that have defined their respective field and there are more to come.

I Need An A Built by people who’ve had abortions for people who will, ineedana.com launched in 2016 as the first comprehensive, regularly updated, and personalized resource for abortion seekers in the US. Since then, we’ve been called the “Quintessential Post-Roe Resource” by The Nation, appeared on John Oliver’s Last Week Tonight, and, most importantly to us, have helped more than one million people get abortions. As a small and independent non-profit project, we couldn’t do it without the support of our volunteers and donors.

Project Street Vet Project Street Vet is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit public charity that provides free veterinary care, treatment, and support to the pets of individuals experiencing homelessness and/or housing vulnerability.

Project Street Vet was founded by Dr. Kwane Stewart, who for the past decade has provided free veterinary care to pets of people experiencing homelessness – walking areas of high homelessness to seek pets and pet parents in need.

We are committed to protecting the human-animal bond that is so vital to the livelihood of pets and the people who love them. Leading with compassion, kindness, and no judgements, will we seek out and assist the pets and people who need it most.
